Colon Cancer; Prevention and Management Options

Colon cancer is one more form of cancer that we have all become very well aware of in the past decade or two, impacting 1 out of 24 adults in their lifetime.  This equates to about 4.15% incidence rate and causing an estimated 51,000 deaths in the United States in 2019 according to the American Cancer Society.  While those statistics may seem low, relatively speaking, the incidence of colon polyps in the average American range around 15-20% or 1 in 5 people.  Seeing the increasing rise in incidence in both colon polyps and cancer, one may believe they are not in control, but the opposite is actually true. Osteoporosis and Curcumin Therapy Benefits

Over 55% of all adults over the age of 50 suffer with osteoporosis or low bone density.  That is over 44 million people living with an increased risk of bone fracture and overall bone weakness on a daily basis.  Osteoporosis is a systemic bone condition which can also reduce the average life expectancy, more in men than in women, creating an increased state of frailty and susceptibility to injury.  Current therapy options offer hope and benefits for many, but what about herbs, specifically curcumin?  Could curcumin impact the progression of osteoporosis?
